1001 Stories Of The Year 2008

So thats it... This year has ended. What have i done this one whole year?

Kekadang, garu kepala juga untuk bab ini....'what have i done this year'? What have i achieved..? My accoplishment? Hehh! Productive enough kah saya tahun ni? Pelayanan, Kerja, Keluarga dan personal...? Ketawa diri sendiri pun ada..apa lah.

Every year i started my year with working. ^-^ of cos lah...wuuu workaholic ke?

Bila bab cuti, aku bagi staff lah cuti. My reason - sebab aku belom kawen, jadi kau orang cutilah. Biar aku kerja. Masalahnya pula, cuti aku mula bertimbun, takut 'burn' pula nanti. Ok, nanti aku nak jual lah cuti aku yang dah 75 hari bakinya tu.. Tak tau la lepas ni, next year aku kawen, entah macam manalah pula arrangement cuti, especially annual leave for Christmas. Macam pisang goreng panas, semua orang berbut-rebut! BUT i suppose, orang yang dah cuti ujung tahun ini tidak lagi cuti ujung tahun next year, SERIOUSLY! That is the FINAL decision. Noted.

Bila sampai bab kursus, aku hantar staff aku dulu(bukan puji diri sendiri), aku berbuat demikian sebab menganggap mereka layak diberi peluang, setelah penat kerja di pejabat. Jadi kasi lah dia orang cuti sambil belajar dan sambil itu melancong juga, kalau kursus itu dibuat di luar Kuching/Sarawak, untung lah dia orang. Melainkan jika mereka betul2 tak dapat tu, baru aku pergi. Aku lah org yang terakhir mencalonkan diri...but i'm sooo happy when they attended the course organized by our department or INTAN or any other agencies. I still remember, at one time, i assign one staff to join a seminar. But when i double-check, the candidates is me myself since they are already highlighted my name in the invitation letter...oooowwhh i thought i have to assign some one else, i said to the secretariate people. The person tak jadi pergi because its my doing and i must go this time...

Duty in the office? I do what my staff do aswell...no different. Why? Words through action..

This year aswell, me and friends were invited to join the Gawai Ka'amatan programe. It is the second time for me. First time they invited me, i buat compare(pengacara). This time around i sing.. the shooting is being held @ Pine Resort Kundasang, Sabah. Its really cold up there. I think the temparature is around 19 degree to 20 degree celcius. But I really enjoy the atmosphere though the shooting is very tiring and nonsence sometimes. Have to wake up @ 5am, make-up and wait for our turn to shoot at 6pm. Isn't that CRAZY, people? If our turn to shoot is @ 6pm, dont ask us to wake-up @ 5am lah!! Crazy donky!

This month i'm engaged.. Is this real? Am i ready to hook up with a family life after this? To form a family, am i capable to? Am i ready to become a wife? A mother and at the same time i am working....? Can i perform my duty as that 3 in 1 i've mention above well, or better? Or WORST?! Well, i cannot answer this in the mean time readers....just wait and see....

Peji Kuman Ha' Lepo Kui

Today my family arrange a small makanzzzz program at my parents house at Kpg. Kuhas Serian. Well, its mean for both my family and my fiance' family to get to know each other better, after our engagement. But am working today you know, luckily my parent and my sisters were there to prepare everything.

In the evening, we konvoi go to Serian. Oh, Uncle Ujang also there with aunty Rose and the family.. Thank you uncle and aunty for always been there when i need you guys.. mmuuaahh! God Bless You!

That nite went well. Am just worried that my fiance' family don't get use to our delicacies, since we biasa masak yang biasa2 saja and we grew up with it..but then, I think it was ok, and hope so.
When we going back, Bi's car pula stuck on the muddy road (jalan tanah merah you know) dah lah hujan gik ya, thats why. But semua HERO dalam my fiance' family easily pull out the car (of course lah pakai kereta tarik the car yang stuck tu). Thats why am not so worry if there is any car yang stuck waktu tu heheeee..

Well, its part of practical on the muddy road - 'off road' org kata. And guess what? There is where I always drove my kancil last time, ulang alik saban hari. Membawa terlebih muatan pun pernah. Kekadang durian pun pernah aku angkut use the small 660cc kancil tu. Though its just a small car, but its very berjasa pada tuan nya tok, huhuhuhu. Now, I miss my kancil tho.....kancil ku yang lasak that i named GRACE...huhuhuu

CHRISTMAS

Christmas is here.

There is no service this morning. I went to Serian with my family. In the 25th morning i drove back to Kuching and go to my fiance' house. Few friends of mine and also my fiance' colique come and visit us..

Its a tiring day, but i enjoy it..

Thank God for the day!

Mixture Of Feelings and Christmas Is Here.....

I think of the next time when i tak lah lagi berkepit tido bawah ketiak mak.. Hahaaah, anak mak lah katakan. I still remember when I jokingly said to my niece to ask her not to sleep with my mom bcoz i want to sleep with her that nite. She would shout "Nnnoooooo". Then I just laugh at her and myself. Later, we both sleep with mom. My father? Ruang tamu lah jawabnya, heheehe. Hhmm... those are the days i will keep well in memories.

I remember during my olden days bila dah nak Christmas, my mom will bz preparing my favorite kari pap (curry puff), nasi pulut, pi' bavui and ikan semah steamed together with sambal cili yang 'pedessss' which is our family official food to be served for guests during Christmas festive..While on the Dec 24th nite, there will be a lot of activities like Christmas service, singing (lagu Rohani) competition, Bible quiz and so on. Well of course i'll take part in singing competition. I remember one time i got 2nd place, heheeh. Well, that old time will be kept well and folds beautifully in my memories..


My eldest sister and her family did came to Kuching but A DAY AFTER MY ENGANGEMENT!! well, i forgive her, if she don't show up during my wedding in May, I dont know.. but still I treasure this time and spend it with all my sisters since we really seldom spend time together. Walk around and shopping, lots of laugh, sharing stories and jokes, cooking and we sempat jugak lah pergi pilih my baju for my wedding which is in May next year (2009)at the bridal that my fiance and me have chosen a month back. Becoz of that, i dont think i can join my fiance and his family go to visit their relative in Malugu, Sri Aman - just to make sure we sisters have enough time to be together - so sorry to my darling for that and Thank You for your understanding Sweetheart! I know you will..

Christmas Is Here..... Oh Christmas is just around the corner....but i feel a bit different this time. Why? yalah, kan i dah jadi tunang orang, so thats why. Rasa lain pun ada, bukan terasa mcm bebudak hingusan lagi dah like before this(walaupun umur dah 31 tahun), hati muda katakan hahhaa!

Me, Get Engaged Today...

Hmmmmm today nerves juga.. Today is Friday and i apply one day leave. Its due to my engagement this evening. Quite tired, to prepare eveything. Been up and down between Kuching to Serian (my kampong) to prepared things. Today sempat lagi pergi shopping lapik dulang (together with Bi@Ivy-My future sister in-law and also the eldest sister to my boy friend and her younger son Neville) at India Street. Manage to get it. While my bf off to cut his hair.

All the dowry/hantaran already laying nicely and neat on the dulang on the coffee tables. Oppsss the ring? Oh, my boy friend and i bought our engangement ring already since 24th October, with our name carved underneath on each other's ring. Well, now everything is look orite and just ready be bring to my uncle's house later. I choose to engage at my uncle's place because it can accomodate many people. We already extend our invitation to our uncles, aunties, kazen mazen serta saudara terdekat jak la dulu, (itu pun ramai tau). For more its only our engangement, so we just need our closed family and relatives to be around, not all frens yet. Wait aahh, nanti our wedding you all are invited..:D Sure one.
