The Things that called "LoVe"...

I got this from my FB friend - Belawaan Mekaam: it is about 'Child's Definition of Love'. All the thoughts by the childrens as stated here are interesting aswell it carry deeper meaning although it was said in a very simple way or manner or should i say; they just simply say what does it means 'love' to them-well according to the childrens...

Here they are;

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what they think:

Rebecca (age 8):"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

Billy (age 4):When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Karl (age 5):"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

Chrissy (age 6):"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."

Terri (age 4):"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

Danny (age 7):"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

Emily (age 8):"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

Bobby (age 7):"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

Nikka (age 6):"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate."

Jenny (age 8):"There are two kinds of love. Our love and God's love. But God makes both kinds of them."

Noelle (age 7):"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

Tommy (age 6):"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

Cindy (age 8):"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."

Clare (age 6):"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."

Elaine (age 5):"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."

Chris (age 7):"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."

Mary Ann (age 4):"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."

Lauren (age 4):"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones."

Karen (age 7):"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you."

Mark (age 6):"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross."

Jessica (age 8):"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Kid's answer is pure, simple, and easy to put into practice.

Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a 4 year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry...."


So, what does LOVE really means to you? Sshhhhhhh!!!!! don't have to shout it here, have it carved beautifully in your heart and embedded it deep down into your soul!

3 in 1

Yesterday we had a little party for the 3 of us in the family whom celebrated our birthday within the same month. Me and my mother in-law both our birthday in February while Ezra(Jaja) i think his birthday is in December... (Amat kah Do? Nda aku ingat maya birthday Jaja hehehe..) So after church me and my husband went to buy item for our main menu which is mee hun soup.

After shopping we went home and rest before heading to my in-laws' house at Tabuan. Oh yea, luckily me and my mother in-law bought chicken and the ingridients for our kachang ma on Saturday, so atleast we dont have to drive all the way to 10th mile again. The kachang ma cooked by my mother in-law is very-very yummy and fabulous aswell as the mee hun soup. I enjoy it very much. The birthday cake, which prepared by Dolina (Jaja's mom) was shared by 3 of us..hehe so cute... Tq Do.. Oh, Ivy and her family also attend the makan mee hun soup program cum birthday party that evening..


Thanks to everyone whom made this little party so very merry..

Oh ya i got birthday gift which is perfume from my favorite brand, Idole d'Armani from my hubby and lipstick from Dolina ->> I like that colour Do. Tq for the gifts yeahh.

kembara oh kembara...

Kembara memiliki kereta lama sangat lah perit..dari mula i owned my kembara, its giving me such a hard time include my money. Within a year i already have to fix few things...termasuk lah 'sauber' which cost me RM240, itu pun spring kereta kembara ini pun i kena tukar kelak, repair driveshaft cost me RM240, tukar auto fuse my cermin kereta cost me RM170, tukar tinted lama yang dah terkopek cost me RM280, tukar accesories lama serta fix other little things yang rosak (just after my wedding) cost me another RM280 and yesterday i have to tukar the tangki air yang bocor serta water hose yang juga bocor that cost me RM230. Itu pun semasa driving yesterday on the way to work, believe it or not, aku tengok kereta aku ni berasap walaupun hujan lebat. Terlebih berasap yang cukup untuk membuat aku panik!

I understand this strong and very useful car has been travel alot and far some more. So BERJASA. Jadi, i decided just to send it to workshop-again, despite thinking of how much balance of money i have in my pocket. I don't care about money, what i care most is aslong the water tank can be fix asap, daripada membawa masalah yang lebih besar kelak. Sungguh payah..most of times i have to send it to workshop during weekdays not weekend. This is due to my tight schedule in the weekend...biasalah weekend bagi sesetengah orang adalah masa untuk berehat but to me, its time to do house work. Al-maklumlah saya ada dua majikan; bos dan suami :)

So how is my daily routine's like? This my routine everyday: bangun pagi (around 6.00-7.00) sedia sarapan untuk suami-kalau sempat, kalau tak suami breakfast kat ofis.. lepas tu sedia makanan for Dresden and Bruxels, sapu dan cuci sekeliling rumah serta cuci car porch yang kotor disebabkan bisnes mereka, kadang-kadang bunga aku juga mereka potong sekali(adduuushhh), wash their towels, lepas tu mandi, make-up sikit dan drive to work about 40 minit. Kerja. Petang balik rumah(rushing), beli makanan, shopping grocery untuk dinner di rumah. Kalau sempat masak, masak lah, kalau tak tapau saja lah jawabnya. This is because i am back only after 5.30pm, drive from my office to the shop and home took me another 40 minutes atleast, mana tak lambatnye..? Lepas tu, sedia makanan Dresden and Bruxels, kemas dapur, mandi baru tidur. For laundry i will do it on alternate day, which is Wednesday and weekend. So, that is my daily routine now.... Letih but its alright, itulah tanggungjawab yang perlu dilunas setiap hari...

Well, anyone out there wish to try to perform a housewife duty, say a week, and at the same time working in the office? To all working mothers and also mothers out there, you are real SUPERWOMAN- seriously, no joke!

wah..sekarang ni musim hujan lagi..seperti tahun yang sudah. Hujan tak berhenti turun dari semalam lagi ni..risau jugak time ingat bandaraya Kuching, risau kebanjiran lagi. Harap tidak lah. sekarang pun hujan lebat juga sedang turun, menerbitkan kesejukan taraf beku di pejabat. arrgghhh dingin lagi....sedingin dunia ini.

This ia the Gift, the real gift to the human race and this is the reason why we celebrate a day that is called Christmas Day and being celebrated by the whole universe...the day is belong to not other than Jesus..only Jesus. Happy Birthday Jesus, my Saviour! You are the greatest gifts ever, that we had have. You want us to share the true gifts of love from You with others. You even take our place and hang on the cross, so we can own a life, that is eternal life with you and free from our punishments due to our own guilt and sins. Thank you for shine the light in this dull darkest world...Happy Birthday Jesus! Thank you for giving your precious life..to us.

Dresden Elba@`Eden...

We had `Eden since 1st day of this month. By then he is already 6 weeks old. I have no idea why my husband suddenly want a dog, since i know he is a cat lover, and prefer a cat at home. But its okay, be it a cat or a dog, i will take care of them too.

wah...!! Possing nye...

`Eden has taking much of our times..all the attentions goes to him..hhhmmm lucky `Eden. But we really love him, you know. This black little puppy has become naughtier each day as he grow big too. He is also very playful sampaikan bungaku pun habis dia cabut. Daun-daun bunga pun jadi gondol pula..its okay consider this little `Eden membesar dan perlu 'punyat' so let it be.. hehee..

Esok `Eden kena dibawa ke klinik untuk injection vaksin yang mana telah ditangguh 2/3 minggu lepas di sebabkan masalah kulit. Sekarang nampaknya dah okey. Yang bagus tu klinik vet tu kepunyaan my in-law, iaitu Dr. Anddy (abang my Hubby) so bolehlah atur appointment dari masa ke semasa. Thanks Anddy. Oh, tak lupa pula setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada Dr. Anddy yang telah membuka klinik haiwannya di Medan Universiti, Jalan Kota Samarahan pada 10/10/09 yang lepas. I know this is a bit late but its still not that long after the launching right? Congratulations again! Jadi lepas ni, sesiapa yang nak merawat pet/binatang peliharaan tu, bolehlah pergi ke Toda's Ark Vets Centre di Jalan Kota Samarahan di shop lot berdepan dengan bangunan SALCRA yang baru tu..

Back to `Eden's story, my hubby really take care of him sampai mandikan sekali.. alahaaii bucuk cayang yeee:). Esok pegi klinik lah `Eden nie.. here are some pictures..

Short Holiday P2 - Journey To My Kampung

Hhmm malas juga nak sambung cerita Short Holiday Part 2 nie...tapi sebab kan dek demand jadi buat lah..huhuu. Mana taknya dah dekat 2 bulan dah cheritera tu dah di publish kat sini..macam tunggu Part 3 LOTR pule weeeew...! Ok, di mana kah daku berhenti bercherita dulu tu??? I fikir bagus i cheritera dari mula perjalanan je kan, so tercover lah semua cheritera nanti hehheeeee. Macam ni....

Dari Kuching malam 19/9/09

Bas dijangka bertolak jam 8 malam. Hubby hantar i and my sister ke stesen bas, sementara aunty dah sampai. Naik bas and jalan. Pas tu, bas berhenti sekejap di Jelukong, buang air beli makanan and sempat ambik gambar sket, kekeeee. Kira-kira 30 minit, bas pun menyambung perjalanan. Ko orang tau tak, (dah maklum pun..) bas punya lah laju macam eroplen pulak. Tapi sempat juga tidur dalam bas yang sejuk tu.

Arrived at Bintulu 20/9/09

Kira-kira pukul 6:05 pagi 20 September 2009. Terima mesej dari aunty Rose yang bertanya di manakah gerangannya kami berada sekarang...mereka juge dalam perjalanan ke Asap tapi bermalam di Sibu malam tadi sebab uncle Ujang letih memandu, so mereka berehatlah kat Sibu. I tell aunty kami berada di terminal bas Bintulu and akan bertolak ke Simpang Bakun sekejap lagi. Aunty bagi lah cadangan on what we can do while waiting for uncle Ellie. "You all boleh lepak-lepak, beli sayur dan makan BBQ babi and chicken wing kat situ," kata aunty.

Selepas 30 minit berhenti di terminal bas Bintulu, kami meneruskan perjalanan sampai ke Simpang Bakun dan turun di situ. Wah... i remember this Kuching-Miri road, i said to myself...dulu waktu bertugas dengan Jabatan Penerangan, jalan Pan Borneo ini lah yang selalu menyaksikan Jabatan kami melaluinya untuk pergi ke setiap pelusuk negeri Sarawak saban tahun untuk program jelajah Kembara Merdeka...dari Lundu ke Lawas, dalam masa 2 minggu. Tak cukup menggunakan jalan darat, kami juga menggunakan jalan sungai untuk menjenguk penduduk terutama adik-adik di sekolah yang berada di Kapit, Dalat, Julau dan Oya. Untuk ke Asap pula, kami menggunakan jalan darat lah, yang akan kami gunakan kejap lagi. Waktu tu, seronok pula melihat telatah anak-anak kecill serta semua orang yang menyambut ketibaan kami. Semua keletihan hilang bila melihat mereka serta sambutan yang diberi. What a memories..

Journey to Asap from Bintulu

My long lost Kazen Jiwa akhirnya membawa kami pulang ke kampung halaman di Asap. Sebelum memulakan perjalanan, kami berhentilah sekejap minum kopi dan makan mee di kedai tepi jalan. Tetapi ko orang tau tak, kedai ni multibusiness lah!! Selama 30 minit berhenti kat situ, kami sama-sama perhatikan kira-kira 15 buah kereta, hilux, pajero dan motosikal pun ada, berhenti untuk mendapatkan perkhidmatan mencuci kereta di situ. Wah! memang bagus bisnes orang Cina ni, i said. Ni baru sekejap ni je berhenti, kami dah hitung sampai 15 kereta datang untuk mendapat khidmat mencuci/membersihkan kereta...kalau sehari.....????!!! Untung lah Cina ni. Tak payah buka kedai kopi pun tak pe, untung masih ade..woow! sambil tu, sempat juga saya tengok kucing kepunyaan Cina kedai itu yang sedang rileks-rileks bermalasan di kerusi tuannya..Comel juge..

Ingin juga kidnap kuching nie..

Perjalanan kami ke Asap menyaksikan bukan hanya kereta kecil mengguna pakai jalanraya di situ. Lori-lori balak pun menumpang kemudahan jalan raya yang disediakan. Patutlah orang asyik mencuci kereta di kedai Cina tu sebaik saja datang dari Asap. Keadaan jalan yang berlopak dek lori balak itu juga menjadi punca semua kereta yang pegi ke Asap-Bakun sangat kotor dan berdebu, apatah lagi musim hujan. Sebab tu la kena cuci sebelum sampai ke Bandar Bintulu atau Miri, kalau tak, samanlah jawabnya...Jalan punya lah becak di sesetengah kawasan, berlubang dan rosak lah. Keadaan Jalan raya sebenarnya dah sempurna, tetapi di sebabkan dek lori balak, jadi teruklah jalan tu. Kasihan orang-orang di Asap/Koyan.

Lebih kurang 2 jam setengah, kami pun sampai di kampung saya iaitu Rumah Juman Asap Koyan. Lega rasanya. Kami disambut oleh kazen-mazen dan yang paling cute ialah Larhay, anak uncle Sheidi yang paling bongsu.

Malam tu, sempat juga menjenguk keluarga Late Temenggong Talek dan mengikut kebaktian malam. Aku suka khotbah pastor. Malam ini beliau tidak menyentuh soal di manakah roh seseorang itu semasa meninggal tetapi khotbah beliau ialah mengenai Spiritual Growth.. i so very like your sermon pastor, keep it up.

Sebelum pulang, sempat juga pergi menjenguk uncle Sang dan kazen mazen yang lain. Ambil gambar rumah panjang sekejap dan pemandangan di sekitar kawasan kampung.

Oh peristiwa yang paling lucu ialah, saye tersalah bilik bila balik dari rumah uncle Sang. Pagi tu untuk packing, saya balik le ke umah yang saya ingatkan bilik Uncle Ujang. Bila tiba di pintu bilik tu, saya pun dengan konfiden sekali memegang tombol pintu untuk membuka pintu bilik tersebut. Tapi, malangnya, pintu tu berkuncilah..aihh mustahil, tadi kan saya tak kunci pintu ni waktu keluar bilik, i said to myself...saya pulas lagi tombol pintu tu, memang sah berkunci.. . sambil menunggu pintu dibuka, lalu saye pun duduklah kejap di ruai. Selang 2 minit kemudian, pintu dibuka, maka tersembul lah muka nenek Ubong di pintu..lalu saye pun ketawa dan ketawa terbahak-bahak..Dia pula terpinga-pinga..!! Alahai..inilah akibatnya lama tak balik kampung, bilik sendiri pun tak tau mana satu, ujarku sendiri...hihihihi
