Counting The Blessings…and still do

Today our section organize a farewell party for a practical student whom attached to in our section since June 09. His name is Andy Ngau and recently doing his final year degree in UUM and majoring in Broadcasting Media Technology.

When i arrived in the office that morning, i saw everyone is ready with dishes that been opointed for them to cook.....

To me, I woke up at 4.30am this morning and need to send my brother Radin to airport. He is going to Bintulu to see his wife and their new born – a baby girl. I notice my brother is so very excited about that. He also show a picture of his new born baby girl..hmmmm she’s sooooo the very cute one (ooohh my English) and she got fair skin some more. My brother told me he is ‘VERY PERASAN’ when he look at the picture of his baby girl that was sent to him via picture message by his wife. He said; (well i purposely remain our dialog in our mother tounge language Kayan ya. I hope you don't mind, thanks)

Aden: Nah, doh anak kui, heheeeee
Me: lan ya???? (sambil tepuk bahu my brother) wwaaaahh sayu kah anan...(me smileeee)
Aden: Pukol 11:35 malem deh Angela nganak
Me: Yakah? Melei hia’ nganak ho..
Aden: Te’ gabal nyek tinih. Meerrraaaaan perasan kui tegu akui nyineng gabal nyek nih..
Me: No’? ai makui, akui ikem hineng..

Then my brother pass me his handphone to show me the picture of his beautiful baby girl. She’s sleeping while her mom took the picture, deep sleep. Oh dear.. God bless you my niece.

After drop my brother at the airport, I quickly rang Angela in Bintulu..
Me: Hello Angie, congrats upon your baby girl..she’s so fair…!!! (me smile again)
Angela: Hi kakak..!
Me: Im so proud of you…! (other conversation remain confidential)
Angela: Kakak sudah ada? Bila lagi?
Me: Selow selow lah dulu..hheeeehee. you take care yea..bebai..
Angela: Bai..

When I reached home its about 5:45am and I quickly prepare all the ingredients for my cooking. I need to cook chicken curry and prepare sambal belacan. Luckily I prepare the pudding last night so, not much I have to do this mornig, except the curry..

To Andy thank you for being with us within this few months..We hope you could learn what you need to and gain much experience while being with us here. We hope it will be very useful to you in your study or when you hunting for job in the future. God Bless you..Arigato.

THE PERFECT STORM

Yesterday is Sunday and I didn’t join my husband go to St. Faith. My fren Yong@Salbiah ask me to join the P&W team to back-up singing Ps. Joseph with her, so I join them in. I miss them because we are from one team. Its just that I join my husband’s church make me seldom join them, aswell, I have join P&W team at St. Faith aswell. I miss the New Life P&W team, since I grew up with them doing many activities..well, that olden days has gone but the memories is stil with us.

Today the sermon is shared by Bro. Ernest Bong. The title is The Perfect Storm. To me its very meaningful.. as what have been stated below, you will understand why. Have time to read? So please, and enjoy.

The Perfect Storm (Mark 4:35-41)

Why it is being called ‘Perfect’ Storm..? Because Jesus is in the storm himself with us when we face the storm of life. (Verse38). In order to face the storm of life, as a Christian, one must have 3 life jacket - that is called 3P life jackets. So, What are the 3P’s (Not ‘pee’ yah!)

1. Promise – God’s Promise (Mark 4:35) see also Psalm 33:9, 2 Corinthian 1:20 What is God PROMISE:

i) Mark 4:35That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side."

ii) Psalm 33:9For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm

iii) 2 Corinthian 1:20For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. What GOD has PROMISE is He will be with us in every moment

2. Presence – God’s Presence (Verse 38), see also Psalm 121:3, Isaiah 43:2-3

i) Mark 4:38Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?"

ii) Psalm 121:3He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;

iii)Isaiah 43:2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. 3 For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush [a] and Seba in your stead.

When we are in Jesus, He will in full control of our life. So, there is no fear because the Almighty God is with us. God’s presence to us means PEACE and JOY. So hold on to God’s presence.

3. Power – God’s Power (Verse 39) see also Genesis 18:14, Isaiah 59:1, Romans 8:31

i) Genesis 18:14Is anything too hard for the LORD ? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son."

ii) Isaiah 59:1Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear

iii) Romans 8:31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? God’s POWER give us deliverance and health.

God’s POWER give us deliverance and health. Not one can have this 3 life jackets IF THEY DON’T HAVE FAITH in JESUS or didn’t trust in JESUS. In order to have the 3P’s in our life we must ask Jesus to become MASTER in our board.

Be Strong..

I couldn’t stop thinking about my friend Helen. I just cry when I remember her. My pray is that she will continue to be strong. I have chat with friend Jessica and ask her what actually happen..oh macam tu rupanya, after she told me then I know this guy’s health story…. There is tumor between the tulang rusuk and his chest altogether 4 biji, sebesar biji petai. He went for chemo but then he got appendix pula minggu lepas and need to operate the appendix. Last Saturday, he was ok in the morning before he died.. Lord, my pray is, give your comfort, strength and joy to my friend Helen so that she able to face this hard times. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Farewell...and R.I.P

This evening I was soo shock when my friend Jesica sms me telling that the boyfriend of my best friend Helen pass away this afternoon.. I’m speechless, and really shock..how could..? He is such a healthy man-in good health condition to all the time i know him, active and very good person. How can he..? Im sooo sad.

My husband and I was at my in-laws residence that time having dinner there. After dinner we went to my husband’s aunty house for awhile then rush to see my friend Helen. I never thought this guy is going back home to see Father in Heaven so soon. Me and Helen crying and hug each other when we met. Helen told me that Boniface was very much in good condition this morning. He event sharing jokes with them and his appetite to eat also in good condition. Oh, how can, I ask myself again..

To my fren Helen, my pray for you is, BE STRONG AND TAKE COURAGE. GOD IS ALWAYS BE WITH YOU. I HOPE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FACE THIS HARD TIMES. LIFE MUST GO ON MY DARLING FRIEND…
