Just A Thought

Not to offend anyone, but to make us think... a while.

Abraham Lincoln once says;

"NEARLY ALL MEN CAN STAND ADVERSITY, BUT,
IF YOU WANT TO TEST A MAN'S CHARACTER,
GIVE HIM POWER."

The Meaning...

All man can handle hardship (at least to an extent). That's a part of life. Adversity is life's test for strength, durability, true willingness to live.

And, well...how power is HANDLED is test of character. A good man will not abuse power but will use it for the common good, for those his actions affect. A man with bad character will abuse power and use it solely for his own self-interest, will not be patient or understanding in his pursuits.

Though a man may be able to withstand many hardships due to strength, it doesn't mean that he is good or fair to others in his rule.

Fikir-fikirkan...dan selamat maju jaya!

Terkenang...

My friend post this on my wall at FB...I stop for while because thinking, this music instrumental is very very familiar, right.... Yeaa, its the music that 'accompany' me through the aisle to the altar during my wedding day, with my father on my right side. That was last year.

This sape' played by Jerry Kamit, also my friend. We (Jerry and Tuku Kame') used to record my song (one song, my own composed to be compiled in their album called Gadong) and that particular song is called "Ika' "/You, with his sape' also one of main music instrument in that song, where there is solo part in that song is just to highlight the sape sounds only. Tuku Kame' did a great job. I missed the time when we perform together. Hope to work together with you guys in the times to come. God Bless you all..

To Jerry, thank you for the amazing sape' sound. You are really talented..

This is another version of the instrumental above..

Kasih SetiaMu

Kasih setiaMu yang kurasakan
Lebih tinggi dari langit biru
KebaikanMu yang t'lah Kau nyatakan
Lebih dalam dari lautan

BerkatMu yang telahku terima
Sempat membuatku terpesona
Apa yang tak pernah kupikirkan
Itu yang kau sediakan bagiku

Siapakah aku ini Tuhan
Jadi biji mataMu
Dengan apakah ku balas Tuhan
Selain puji dan sembah Kau

Dia Mengerti
Terkadang kita merasa
Tak ada jalan terbuka
Tak ada lagi waktu
Terlambat sudah

Tuhan tak pernah berdusta
Dia selalu pegang janjiNya
Bagi orang percaya,
Mukjizat nyata

Dia mengerti, Dia peduli
Persoalan yang sedang terjadi
Dia mengerti, Dia peduli
Persoalan yang kita alami

Namun satu yang Dia minta
Agar kita percaya
Sampai mukjizat
Menjadi nyata

Amei..Tribute to you 太迟了 Too Late-例外人The Remnant (Official MV)

Hmmm..dara lan nah pekerem tua jan ngalong serita' lung urip ha' amin anih doh...liveng kui..(lama dah menyepi untuk menulis di ruangan ini..i miss it, just like what u said too, Anon) Too busy lately, too many activities and occupied with many things.

Hei, last week my sister Suze sms's me about the product of their hard works few months back. It is a video clip which involved my father (Amei) and aswell my sister. I really like that video clip and congratulation to the group - The Remnant, whom already produced a beautiful video clip and nice music and song arrangement aswell. I like the way they direct the video clip. I dont understand the lyrics, but the video can tell it all.

But am not talking about the video clip here... its about my FATHER. Tengok lah video clip tu sendiri.. BRAVO Amei!!!

The Remnant FEAT Ukong Mering
- I hope you enjoyed the video clip; as i do too.

ORIGINAL!

My father have few students yang berguru dengannya selama ini. Untung sangatlah dia orang tu... Java' nah ah.. ak ngitel levah apeng kua' ngahep. (Hehehe jangan mare brother) Men lim kelo' harik, harep itam ma'ie awang dahin mejat kenep anak ake' tam pekalei dak sape'.. ha' akui te' anak ake' ju pehaten lim kah akui medel daha' dak sape' nih.

Tapi dia tak berfikir demikian, Persembahan Khas, kata bapak. Saya pun mengalah, yang penting dia guuumbira.

Bermain SAPE semasa majlis makan malam perkawinan saya tahun lepas

Mak pula menari pada masa tersebut..Thank you guys, for your contribution. I really appreciate it

Bermain sape semasa majlis 'Ngaja Amin' Jeflin (Uncle Elli Luhat's eldest son) tahun lepas

P/s: Kamah Lejo, bila laaaa ko nak main sape, dahin diiringi joh kejun "Jun-jun jelupang...."?

The Things that called "LoVe"...

I got this from my FB friend - Belawaan Mekaam: it is about 'Child's Definition of Love'. All the thoughts by the childrens as stated here are interesting aswell it carry deeper meaning although it was said in a very simple way or manner or should i say; they just simply say what does it means 'love' to them-well according to the childrens...

Here they are;

Illustration
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what they think:

Rebecca (age 8):"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

Billy (age 4):When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Karl (age 5):"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

Chrissy (age 6):"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."

Terri (age 4):"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

Danny (age 7):"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

Emily (age 8):"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

Bobby (age 7):"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

Nikka (age 6):"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate."

Jenny (age 8):"There are two kinds of love. Our love and God's love. But God makes both kinds of them."

Noelle (age 7):"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

Tommy (age 6):"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

Cindy (age 8):"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."

Clare (age 6):"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."

Elaine (age 5):"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."

Chris (age 7):"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."

Mary Ann (age 4):"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."

Lauren (age 4):"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones."

Karen (age 7):"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you."

Mark (age 6):"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross."

Jessica (age 8):"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Kid's answer is pure, simple, and easy to put into practice.

Illustration
Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a 4 year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry...."

So, what does LOVE really means to you? Sshhhhhhh!!!!! don't have to shout it here, have it carved beautifully in your heart and embedded it deep down into your soul!
